Foxfield Benefit Event

“The Foundation hosted its first Foxfield Benefit on Friday, April 29th at the Keswick Hunt Club. This event served to officially open the spring races the following day with Foxfield Racing Committee members and their guests in attendance. Local legend and Director, Hugh Wilson served as the guest master of ceremonies and encouraged all in attendance to bid “high and often” on the auction items. The Foundation hosted a full house which included key donors and friends of the Foundation and the greater Charlottesville community. The Duke Merrick Band provided the evening’s entertainment and was enjoyed by all.

The Foundation wishes to express its deep appreciation to Mr. Benjamin Dick and his team for their decision to support the important work of the Foundation. Proceeds from the hunt club event will help to fund scholarships for learning and emotionally challenged students served by Little Keswick School. In addition, the Foxfield Racing Association donated $10,000.00 from its racing proceeds.

The Foundation Board would also like to acknowledge all of the individuals and businesses that helped to make the event a success through their generosity with specific recognition going to:
